Platform North East is an organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne and is made up of professional artists and arts producers whose aim is to advocate and support live art in the north east region. The organisation is managed by a steering group consisting of Lee Callaghan (amino), Paul Grimmer (artist), Michelle Hirschhorn (independent curator), Ilana Mitchell (artist), and Ben Ponton (amino).
